Sir, This refers to crime number RC-11(A)/2010,ACB,Dehradun in which sanction was solicited/proposed on 09/11/2012 and decision on CBI’s request of sanction for prosecution is pending in Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Accused IAS Sada Kant Shukla (then Joint Secretary, MHA and now Principal Secretary of Housing & Urban Development department of Govt. of U.P.) is said to have very excellent rapport and relations with the Hon’ble Home Minister Raj Nath Singh of central government as well as with your father Mulayam Singh Yadav. This is noteworthy to mention that central as well as your government is sleeping on this case of corruption, that too a case in which corruption was done at the cost of safety & security of INDIA. IAS Sada Kant Shukla is accused of taking bribe of more than 200 Crores on projects of construction of roads on borders of India. Isn’t it enough to prove hypocrisy on the part of central as well as your Government? This is the basic principal of physics that everything on earth, moves from top to bottom on its own due to gravitational pull; so is the case with ‘CORRUPTION in public life’, which is swiftly making its way from Top to Bottom on its own. Sir, in our homes, we always avoid keeping dangerous things at high positions lest they should fall and cause harm to us; then how come you are continuously keeping tainted officer Sada Kant Shukla, accused of corruption, posted at top positions in your government who are surely causing much more harm to the system than ever expected. Moreover, do you personally feel that officer like Sada Kant Shukla, accused of corruption possesses morale and courage to contain corruption under him? Is it justified to keep Sada Kant Shukla active in public life despite he being accused of the most heinous crime of earth i.e. corruption? Sir, You had promised Uttar Pradesh that you shall deal with the corruption cases strictly without caring about the allegiances of the accused. You had promised all of us to set up special courts for speedy trials for disposal of corruption cases against politicians and corrupt bureaucrats. But it seems that you only made false promises to whole of Uttar Pradesh with a shrewd intent to grab power by befooling the whole country. Accused Sada Kant Shukla should not be spared only because of his high position and his close relations with politicians of various political parties including yours & BJP, other high placed persons and money earned by corruption in his life. If corrupt officers like Sada Kant Shukla are kept at high positions, as is happening in this case, Uttar Pradesh shall never be able to contain corruption. I am of firm belief that Sada Kant Shukla is expediting his links in your party and government to ensure he somehow retire while holding top posts and till then let the matter remain in hibernation and this is one of the reasons of his holding top positions in your Government. Sir, I personally have full faith in your ( Akhilesh Yadav’s ) ability to fight against corruption so now government led by you has an immediate task to immediately remove tainted IAS Sada Kant Shukla from the post of Principal Secretary ( Housing & Urban Development ) of Uttar Pradesh Government. So I am requesting you to immediately remove tainted IAS Sada Kant Shukla from the post of Principal Secretary ( Housing & Urban Development ) of Uttar Pradesh Government and during pendency of crime number RC-11(A)/2010,ACB,Dehradun keep him under suspension. Please do write to Prime Minister of India for taking immediate action in pending case of sanction request for prosecution of Sada Kant Shukla,IAS( The then Jt. Secretary,MHA).
